This issue follows the events of Thor #373, Power Pack #27 and Thor #374...

As Beast and Iceman bring the injured Leech and Caliban through the Morlock Tunnels to the X-Factor Compound they are attacked by a group of Morlocks consisting of Blow-Hard, Scaleface, Berzerker and led by Masque. The group of survivors mistake them for Marauders and attack. Initially their fight is hampered due to Leech's close proximity nullifying everyone else's powers. With being outnumbered, Bobby sends Leech away so that they can at least have the advantage of using their mutant powers.
