Superman joins Batman, Null and Swordfish on their quest to rescue Barracuda, who was trapped and frozen in a time-sphere, which was stolen by the Russians. Swordfish explains the origing of his and Barracuda's powers and after a short break, Superman is forced to leave the group to attend an emergency.

Meanwhile, Void makes an alliance with the powerful villain called X'ult and they travel to the real world to recover Barracuda, who X'ult wants to make his bride. Upon their return to Earth, X'ult attacks several ships in the Caribbean Sea, forcing Superman to focus his energy on saving the lives of the victims.
