Lois Lane deals with the surprise of Clark Kent revealing his double life as Superman, and she asks Clark to give her time to process it all.

Superman leaves, and the U.S. government asks for Superman's help to escort Marlo, Qurac's president, for a trial in the U.S. Superman takes him from the Russian embassy at Qurac and puts him in the plane. The U.S. military planes receive attacks from the Quraci militia and the renegade group the "Sons of Liberty", and Superman averts them. But one of the planes, presumably the one with Marlo on board, gets destroyed by the attack.
