In a Con Edison plant in Manhattan, the Torpedo struggles to regain consciousness, aware of the fact that his recent battle with the Rocketeers has set off some kind of chain reaction in the plant's nuclear pile. As the Rocketeers fly away, confident that the Torpedo costume will soon be destroyed, the Torpedo spots a main power cable that was accidentally sheared away during the fight, depowering the safety systems meant to prevent explosions.
